Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring?

We will provide everything needed for fishing (although you are more than welcome to bring your own gear). Some things you may want include polarized sun glasses, sunscreen, a hat, weather-appropriate clothes (rain jacket), comfortable shoes, and a good attitude.

Do I need to bring food and drinks?

Non-alcoholic beverages are included on all trips; we will have water and soda. You are welcome to bring beer/alcoholic drinks if you would like. We will have coolers with ice. Lunch is provided on full-day trips only. Feel free to bring anything in the way of snacks you would like.

Do I need a Colorado fishing license?

Yes, you will need to get your Colorado fishing license. All Colorado fishing licenses require a state-issued federal ID and a Social Security number for people over 16 years old. Licenses can be purchased at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website or over the phone at 1-800-244-5613.

Are children permitted on your trips?

Yes! We love passing on the love of the sport to the next generation. Many of our guides are parents themselves and are thrilled at the opportunity to make a special day for a young angler-to-be.

What if I’m a beginner?

No worries! No previous experience is required. We can’t wait to show you what it’s all about. Our guides are very patient and happy to help in the learning process.

What if I need to cancel my trip?

If you need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible.
